Vernesa Islamovic is a perfect example of this. Vernesa has been responsible for all aspects of company accounting since November 2010. As a qualified office administrator, it was always important to Vernesa that she undertake continuous professional development. By acquiring the accountancy certificate in 2016 and the subsequent management accountant’s certificate in 2019, Vernesa has now laid the foundation for completing the academic degree (MSc) in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna. “I have merlin^® and the company management to thank for the fact that I will be able to attain my academic qualification in the near future,” says Vernesa.

Philipp Burgstaller also successfully completed his Master’s degree in “Global Sales & Marketing” this summer and achieved excellent results. Philipp began working as Marketing and Product Manager at merlin^® in 2018 alongside his studies, and is now responsible for areas including our online presence. “Managing work and studies at the same time was frequently challenging, but also an important step in my career development. I am now looking forward to the next tasks I will be undertaking at Merlin Technology.”
