Our new HM9 gains approval once again

Japan, here we come!

Our HM9 series wood moisture meters have passed the JAS test procedure flawlessly, and have therefore gained approval in the Land of the Rising Sun. With this, Merlin Technology is the only European manufacturer with this approval for modern wood moisture meters on the Japanese market.

The interest of the Asians was clearly tangible 20 years ago at our first trade fair in the Far East. In parallel to this, the demand from Europe is rising significantly, which is why we are continuously strengthening our team in the measuring instrument engineering division.

The run on the smart HM9 devices is naturally not without reason. They are designed for veneers, parquet, furniture and cuts right down to the last detail, and facilitate non-destructive moisture testing. With 21 pre-programmed wood groups, they are as precise as a Swiss watch. The HM9 combination device is available with measuring depths from 0.5 to 25 mm. The world first in the veneer meter is the wood thickness preselection with 6 measurement depths between 0.5 and 3 mm, which can be set. "Carpenters and co receive an economical device that can do a whole lot. There is no comparable model on the market", emphasizes Johann Reisinger.
