In addition to the classic guided tours of the vineyard, the show cellar and restaurant, visitors can now enjoy a 4D cinema that brings the history of viticulture to life in an impressive way. This multi-sensory experience is made possible by the use of state-of-the-art high-pressure atomization from merlin^® .

The idea of integrating a 4D cinema into the Weinwerk arose from the desire to give visitors an even deeper connection to the region and viticulture. The specially produced film about viticulture in the Innviertel region not only shows the work in the vineyard, but also allows viewers to experience the forces of nature such as wind, rain and fog up close.

This is where the merlin^® high-pressure atomization comes into play. MICRO DROP high-pressure nozzles integrated into the cinema seats imitate weather phenomena such as rain and fog in a deceptively realistic way. While thunder and lightning rage on the screen, the audience in the auditorium experience the feeling of being in the midst of these forces of nature.

But it's not just the cinema that benefits from merlin^® technology. The ventilation system (AHU), which supplies the restaurant, kitchen and cinema with pre-conditioned air, also uses merlin^® high-pressure atomization for efficient air humidification in winter and cooling in summer. These systems not only ensure a pleasant indoor climate, but also make a significant contribution to energy savings.

Christian Pumberger, owner of Weinwerk and Pumberger Gebäudetechnik, was already familiar with merlin^® from the industrial sector. "With merlin^® , the investment costs were only a quarter of those of conventional air conditioning systems. In addition, we achieve significant annual energy savings in operating costs compared to other solutions for air humidification and cooling. The installation effort was manageable, as we only had to integrate Orbit Wing^® from merlin^® into the ventilation system," explains Christian Pumberger.
